Huda is an associate attorney at Panella Law Firm, concentrating her practice on criminal defense, criminal appeals/criminal postconviction, family law appeals, and traffic cases in the greater Central Florida area. Huda is a committed and compassionate attorney in family law cases that involve child custody, paternity and marriage dissolution. She is also a tireless advocate for individuals charged with a crime.

Huda also handles many appellate post-conviction cases.
“There’s a lot of research and writing involved. I love doing that. It’s a significant amount of work – I can spend 100 hours on a single case. A lot of times we’re representing people who are facing long prison sentences. We’re that person’s advocate and have the power to change their life. It’s so rewarding when they come back and are so grateful. Being able to take that burden off their shoulders is a great feeling. You can also create precedent while making sure a client’s legal rights are defended.”
Huda graduated from Rollins College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Philosophy. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. While in law school, Huda was instrumental in reviving the on-campus organization National Association of Counsel for Children, where she served on the board of executive directors. During her final year in law school, Huda was accepted into the Juvenile Defense Clinic as a Certified Legal Intern, where she represented at-risk youth in various criminal matters ranging from misdemeanor drug possession cases to felony burglary and firearm cases.
“Some of the kids live in poverty conditions with parents who don’t care. We care, and we’ll do all we can to advocate for them within the legal system.”
Huda’s compassion and empathy for helping those most vulnerable led her to pursue a career in criminal defense work. She joined Panella Law Firm where she currently focuses her practice on complex criminal litigation, at both the trial and appellate levels, as well as family law matters and civil and criminal traffic issues. Huda’s success in getting the best possible outcome for her clients comes from her ability to relate to people from all walks of life and help them obtain justice through zealous advocacy.
Outside of work, Huda enjoys reading, hanging out at coffee shops, traveling, and exhilarating adventures. Both of her parents are Palestinians, and Huda is a Palestinian-American. She is proud of her heritage.
